FEASIBILITY STUDY :
20-storey luxury highrise on narrow site
- The purpose of this study was to explore the development feasibility of a 19-feet wide by 100-feet long site located at 150 East Ontario Street, in the heart of Chicago’s prime shopping/living district. The success of this proposal hinges on the use of some specific building technologies:
- Automated multi-story car parking and turntable for up to 40 cars, with a full range of customer interface controls allowing variable systems from time paid parking to pre allocated security parking.
- Switchback stair system to satisfy a double exiting requirements in narrow floor plans.
- Interior pneumatic vacuum elevator that are smaller, less-expensive model that is much more practical for a single-family home.
